All OneBeacon® employees qualify for Workers Compensation benefits. Individuals working for OneBeacon on a contract or temporary basis employed by a third party agency are not eligible for benefits.

If an employee experiences a work related illness or injury, WC provides medical care benefits and in qualifying lost work time claims, income replacement benefits.

In most instances, if an employee is approved for WC income replacement benefits, they are also eligible for Short Term Disability benefits under the OneBeacon Disability program. STD and WC benefits are coordinated, and WC salary payments will be deducted from the employee's paycheck.

Zurich of North America handles WC claims for OneBeacon.

Benefits should be notified immediately of any work related illness or injury and will report all WC claims on behalf of the employee to Zurich. Please email benefits at benefits@onebeacon.com to notify the benefits department.
